Metro United FC Shines at 2025 Easter Kids Soccer Tournament
Metro United FC proudly participated in the 2025 Easter Kids Soccer Tournament, held from 18th to 21st April 2025. The tournament, which brought together young football talent from across Lusaka, proved to be a major success for our youth teams.
Represented by our Under-10 and Under-12 squads, the Metro United boys displayed incredible skill, discipline, and team spirit throughout the four-day event.
Tournament Match Results

Under-10 Results:
- Metro United vs George Bullets – Won 2-0
- Metro United vs Tigers – Won 3-1
- Metro United vs Chibolya Rising Stars – Won 1-0
Under-12 Results:
- Metro United vs Hammington – Won 2-1
- Metro United vs Chibolya Rising Stars – Drew 0-0
Both squads advanced to the finals, showcasing great consistency and talent throughout their games.
Thrilling Finals & Victory for Metro United Under-10
In a dramatic Under-10 final match against George Academy, the game ended in a draw during regular time and moved into a nail-biting penalty shootout. Our young stars kept their cool and emerged victorious, securing the Under-10 Championship Trophy for Metro United FC. It was a proud moment for the team and the entire Metro United family.
Our Under-12 team also reached the finals and showed great heart. They fought bravely, but unfortunately lost in a tense penalty shootout, finishing second in their division. Their performance throughout the tournament was nothing short of outstanding, and we are proud of their achievement.
